ONCE UPON A TIME

I raised my children alone for many years and now my youngest daughter is graduating from college in December. She put herself through school and is graduating with high honors and by God's grace I get to fly to Louisiana to see her graduate from LSU.
She requested a crocheted lacy shawl as a graduation present and wants nothing more than this because she treasures my homemade gifts. Being right handed I recently developed severe tendinitis in my right elbow and was told that in order to be able to make Abby's gift I must not use this arm for six weeks and needless to say this will be a real challenge.

God in heaven your will be done.

Mary, an older daughter, graduated last year from college and is currently working as a community activist. After hearing about Palin's recent criticisms of Obama's community activist background, Mary blogged that Jesus was a community activist and Pilate was a governor.
